The playtex bottles were highly recommended to me by another mom I know, but they suck! Dr. Brown's are so much better. The playtex nipples are much tougher, where as dr brown's are softer and feel more natural.

I love this system for bottles. The nipples come in different stages. You have a slow flow for newborns so they don't choke will drinking from the bottle. The bottles themselves are designed so your baby can sit up while eating and produces less gas. I highly recommend this product.
