Customer Reviews

We have been using Born Free bottles for over two months and haven't ever had a problem with mold. Recently we switched from Level 1 to the Y-cut nipples because our 2-month old has reflux and needed to be put on a formula with rice starch; the starch causes the formula to be much thicker. She couldn't get the formula through the level 1 nipples, so we tried the Y-cut, and they work great!

When my daughter was born 3 months ago, we wanted to use Medela bottles/nipples because they fit perfectly with the pump I was using. The nipples were way too fast and they leaked. That is when we tried Born Free. We initially chose them because they were BPA free and came in both glass and plastic. While slightly more expensive than its competitors, the Born Free seemed to be the right choice for our daughter. We used both the level 1 and level 2 nipples and were happy with them except for the occasional inversion when she was REALLY hungry.
Our daughter has acid reflux and her pediatrician suggested that we begin putting cereal in her milk to help her food stay down better. The pediatrician suggested using an old nipple and widening the whole. I did some research online and found these y-cut nipples. They worked great-much better than the homemade ones. The flow was perfect for my 3-month-old and she hardly spit up any milk. I am planning to buy a few more for convenience.
