Customer Reviews

These bottles are very nice; got them for my son to use when he turned 3 months. He goes back and forth from breast to bottle just fine. The nipples don't collapse like other's I've tried. Only reason didn't give it 5 stars is the bottle will not seal if put together improperly or if the parts are even a little wet. There are four parts, the white and clear parts that help control the flow and make the seal, then the nipple and screw cap. The clear part and the inside edge of the nipple can take forever to dry if you wash them and then let them air dry. And the clear part is so oddly shaped making it hard to dry by hand. They are easy to clean by hand or to run through the dishwasher. I use the sanitizing rinse instead of the heat dry so I can place the nipples in the bottom shelf basket and all parts come out working fine every time. They are great but get two sets if you go through bottles often so they can completely dry between feedings.

Don't get me wrong, I love the born free bottles. They have been the best bottles for my preemie. However, these bottles (I bought at Babies R Us for $20) are thicker plastic than the other born free bottles (from the 2 pack). So it takes much longer to warm them which is not fun when you have a hungry baby. I would stick with purchasing the Born Free bottles in a 2 pack - not the "Eco" bottles.
