I wanted to try and exclusively breastfeed my 3 wk old but at his 1 wk appointment he had not gained enough weight and the doctor wanted me to supplement with formula 3X a day. These nipples are so convenient! I didn't want the hassle of having to keep sterilizing the bottles, nipples etc. Also, these nipples fit on the Medela bottles so I can supplement with milk I have expressed! Great find and just sorry they are not sold at the local drugstore.
PS my pediatrician's office gave me a bag full of these nipples so you can always ask them for extras!

We purchased these for a recent 7 hour flight as we thought disposable nipples and ready made formula would be much easier for traveling - and they were! Gave my 3 month old slightly more gas than his usual get-up, but nothing troublesome.
